The 2025-26 U.S. National Team Development Program will have solid New England representation.
Four locals, along with four other players who played at Mount St. Charles this season, made the next NTDP squad.
The Rivers forward trio of Carter Meyer (Winchester, Mass.), Finn Sears (Medford, Mass.) and Sam Pandolfo (Winchester, Mass.) all made it. Mid Fairfield's Jake Boguniecki (Orange, Conn.) will be the only local on defense.
As for Mount St. Charles, forwards Rocco Pelosi and Brayden Willis made it. Defenseman Christian Semetsis earned a spot on the team, as well as goalie Nathaniel Chizik.

Meyer, Sears and Pandolfo had terrific winters, leading Rivers to the No. 7 spot in the New England prep Elite 8 Tournament. Meyer ranked second in the region with 70 points, while Sears wasn't far behind with 53 and Pandolfo tallied 36. The trio began playing on a line together in Saturday morning's game at NTDP camp.
Boguniecki was a vital piece for Mid Fairfield's 15O team throughout the fall and winter. The 6-foot, 153-pound defenseman was unique at camp, as he showed clear signs of being a potential two-way force for the NTDP. Now, he will get that opportunity.
Pelosi getting the nod isn't a surprise. Despite an underwhelming camp, he has been arguably the top '09 in the United States over the last two seasons. With point totals of 170 and 128 over the last two seasons at the 14U and 15O level, he was impossible to leave off.
Willis just wrapped up his only year with Mount St. Charles. The Gilbert, Ariz. native came from the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes and immediately made an impact, scoring 52 goals and posting 106 points in 55 games.
On defense, Semetsis was productive for Mount this season with 13 goals and 49 points in 53 games. At camp, he was a steady, puck-moving presence who held his own in the defensive zone. He was one of my biggest surprises in camp.

Chizik made sense in net. The 6-foot-2, 204-pound netminder from Warrington, Penn. was the best goalie at camp and has been a mainstay for Mount over the last two seasons.
